General
I hold the right to refuse an order for any reason. Any projects utilizing, containing, or promoting generative AI will be refused service.
Contact Forms & Communication
You may not use or submit forms on this site, or otherwise contact my listed email, for the purposes of solicitation, spam, fraud, or any illegal activity of any kind. You agree to only submit a form or contact me for the services related to the information on the website.
Respecting your data and security is of utmost importance to me. Please refrain from submitting any information I do not request, or any information you wish to keep private.

Pricing
All prices are subject to change at my discretion, and are non-negotiable.
Mixing Services
Mix prices are based on the number of individual stems per-song, and the number of songs you send me to mix, for any body of work. Prices for mixes are as follows:
I offer 2 free revisions per-project. Every additional revision costs an additional $20.
I provide the option to add a “Single Remix” or an “EP or Album Remix” to the service you select. If you choose to add these, those prices will be added to your total and cost as follows:
*For “EP or Album Remix,” you may request remixes for any amount of the songs you sent me to mix, up to the total amount of songs on the related EP or Album. Any amount of remixes requested beyond your total EP or Album tracklist will adhere to regular Remix prices (detailed below).
Mastering Services
Mastering prices are based on the number of songs you send me to master (“songs” in this case are defined as single, uncompressed audio files) for any body of work. Prices for masters are as follows:
I offer a discount of 12% off mastering services when combined with any mix order. For this to apply, the number of masters must equal the number of mixes.
I offer 2 free revisions per-project. Every additional revision costs an additional $20.
Song Production
Song Production prices are varied, and based on the type(s) of license(s) you need for your order. Please see the “Use” sections below for more information on licenses/permissions and use. The Song Production services I offer, and their respective prices, are as follows:
“Cover Instrumental”
A new recording and production of an instrumental of a pre-existing song, intended for a singer to perform a cover for personal and/or commercial use. Up to 4 minutes in length, unlimited instruments
Add-Ons:
“VTuber BGM”
An original work of music meant for a content creator to use as background music in their streams and/or online content.
90 seconds to 120 seconds in length, loop-friendly, unlimited instruments
“Game/Video Soundtrack”
Original instrumental music for use in original video games, videos, etc.
90 seconds to 120 seconds in length, loop-friendly, unlimited instruments

“Original Anime-Style Song”
An original work of music, either instrumental or with vocals and/or synth vocals (no generative AI)
Note: For Personal and/or Commercial Content Use only. Commercial Merchandising is not available/allowed for this service.
Add-Ons:
“Remix”
A remix of your song. 3 minutes to 3 minutes and 30 seconds in length
Note: you must own the rights to the song and all of its contents.

“Session Work”
I perform and record an instrument for your original work, or a work you hold the rights to use and release
The current instrument parts I provide are: guitar, bass guitar, drum programming, mandolin, electronic programming, percussion, vocals (tenor 1 and 2), synth vocals (alto, using Synthesizer V1)
Length: up to 4 minutes. One instrument/track. If you have already composed a part you wish for me to play, please provide notation and/or tabs. Otherwise, I’m happy to compose my part to fit your song.

“Vocal Editing/Mixing”
Pitch and timing editing, and mixing for the vocal parts of your original work or a work you hold the rights to use and release. Includes all processed vocals as separately-bounced tracks, and an optional mixdown with the instrumental. Up to 4 tracks per-vocalist (Any separate tracks due to overlap will not be considered an additional track, and will not require an increase in price). Length: up to 4 minutes

Delivery Details
Once I have approved and confirmed your order with you, I will provide an invoice for a 50% deposit of the total cost for the service. I will begin working on your order after I receive this deposit.
I will deliver your order to you within the length of time we agreed on during approval, with that length of time beginning the day I receive the 50% deposit.
Please note: delivery time may vary based on availability. I will communicate my estimated delivery time for your approval prior to confirming the order.
Payment Terms
A 50% deposit of the total will be due once an order has been placed and confirmed. The remaining 50%, along with any additional costs included for add-on services requested throughout the duration of the work, will be due once I have completed the order (and any necessary revisions) and delivered it to you.
I will provide an invoice for the 50% deposit upon confirming your order, and another with the remaining amount due when I have completed your order.
Please note: I will not begin working on an order unless I have received the 50% deposit.
I currently accept the following methods of payment for Mixing/Mastering and Song Producing services:
After I have delivered your order, you have up to 30 days to review and approve it. Once no revisions are necessary and you have approved of the completed order, the remaining payment is due within 14 days of approval. If you do not approve of the completed order after 30 days, the remaining payment will automatically be due.
You are not permitted to utilize your order for any purposes until all payment is finalized. Failure to complete payment for a completed order will result in the termination of this agreement and possibly legal action.
Cancellations & Delays
If I encounter or anticipate any delays during the completion of the order, I will communicate these to you as soon as possible with a new proposed delivery time. If you wish not to approve of the updated delivery time, you may cancel the order. Please see below for my refund policy.
Once you cancel an order, or if you do not approve of the completed work I provide, you may not utilize any contributions I made to your project.
Refunds
All payments are nonrefundable once I have begun work on your order, except in the case of unresolved delays: if you do not approve of an updated delivery time I propose and you choose to cancel your order, I will refund your paid 50% deposit.
Use – Song Production Services
The following Use details of this agreement pertain to “Song Production” services only. For details about use, licenses, and permissions for “Mixing” and “Mastering” services, please see here.
The permissions and licenses I grant for using my Song Production work depend partially on the selections you make for Personal/Commercial Content Use, and Commercial Merchandising when placing an order. Those forms of use are defined as follows:

Credits & Intellectual Property Rights
Credits
For all Mixing, Mastering, and Song Production services, you must credit me for my contributions everywhere you share the end product I deliver to you, both online and in physical form.
You may credit me as “RJ Barnett” for Mixing and/or Mastering, and as “Circlebrooke” or “RJ Barnett” for my Song Production contributions
The type/category of credit will depend on the service you have commissioned from me. If you are unsure of how to credit me properly for a commission, please reach out. I am happy to help!
Intellectual Property
I retain full copyright & ownership of all my original compositions, my recorded performances, and my audio engineering contributions contained in the delivered products. For Cover Instrumentals, all rights/ownership of the original work’s compositions, songwriting, and performances are maintained by the copyright holder.
When ordering a Cover Instrumental, or submitting a cover for me to mix and/or master, please make sure that you are familiar with and obtain the necessary licenses for the distribution of the cover. I am not responsible for obtaining or holding these licenses.
I can only accept Mixing, Mastering, and Remix orders wherein you own the right, or hold the necessary licenses, to the property you submit to me for the commission. I cannot be held responsible in the event of your misusing such properties.
Termination of Agreement
With this site and its services, my mission is to share the joy and transforming power of music with others. With that said, if I determine that you have breached any part of this site’s Terms and Conditions, I may choose to terminate this contract and cease any/all communications with you with or without notice.
I hold the right to terminate this agreement at any time. Failure to adhere to the conditions listed in this document will result in termination of the agreement.
I reserve the right to, in my sole discretion and without notice or liability, deny access to and use of this site, as well as any and/or all of its services.
I reserve the right to take appropriate legal action, including without limitation pursuing civil, criminal, and injunctive redress.
