Contact Forms & Communication

You may not use or submit forms on this site, or otherwise contact my listed email, for the purposes of solicitation, spam, fraud, or any illegal activity of any kind. You agree to only submit a form or contact me for the services related to the information on the website.

Respecting your data and security is of utmost importance to me. Please refrain from submitting any information I do not request, or any information you wish to keep private.

Lesson Pricing

Lesson rates are based on duration of the lesson and frequency of lessons, regardless of preferred instrument(s) and location of lessons unless I state otherwise.

30-Minute Lesson: $30 per-lesson
45-Minute Lesson: $40 per-lesson
1 Hour-Lesson: $55 per-lesson

Rates are always subject to change at my discretion, and they are non-negotiable. I will only increase rates/prices for current clients after first notifying clients at least one month in advance, and the client reserves the right to cancel lessons should I choose to do so (see below for cancellation details).

Payment Terms

Payments will occur weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, as agreed upon by me (Ronald Barnett) you (the client) in written form. Accepted payments/payment processing methods include:

PayPal
Card (Credit/Debit)
Venmo
Cash App
Check

I will provide an invoice or payment request for the total due (based on the above pricing information) via email, text, payment app, or in person, depending on the contact information you provide.

Payments are considered due after Music Lesson(s) have been completed. A ‘completed’ Music Lesson is defined as a fulfilled agreed-upon meeting, in-person or online, wherein I instruct and assist the client in their instrument(s) of choice, or I do so for the student(s) they have hired me to teach.

For weekly lessons, I will send an invoice or otherwise request payment 1-7 business days after the completed lesson. For bi-weekly and monthly lessons, I will send the invoice or otherwise request payment by the final date of each month. Payments are considered late two weeks after the date the invoice is issued or the payment is requested. See details about late payments below.

I may choose not to deliver an invoice if I receive the due payment first, with digital or physical evidence that the payment was received. You may still request an invoice/record of any payments at any time.

Payments for completed lessons are nonrefundable.

Late/Missed Payments

If I do not receive a payment for a lesson/lessons within two weeks (14 days) of issuing the invoice or payment request to you, I will include the unpaid total in future invoices or payment requests until the late/missed payment is fulfilled. I may include this balance earlier for documentation purposes if we have agreed on weekly payments, but they will only be considered ‘late’ after 14 days.

If I do not receive late/missed payment(s) after I’ve included them on three invoices or payment requests, or after 90 days, I will contact you further for collection. Failure to complete any late or missed payment(s) beyond this point will result in cancellation of all future scheduled lessons and possibly legal action.

Lesson Fulfillment

I offer lessons for the following instruments:

Guitar (Acoustic & Electric)
Bass Guitar
Ukulele
Drums
Music Production (Electronic Music, Recording/Engineering)
Piano (for Beginners)

I will arrive at the time we have scheduled, either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

You are always welcome to change the instrument for which you or the student would like lessons.

Cancellations & Delays

If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, any changes made at least one hour prior to the lesson time will not require payment for the lesson. Cancellations beyond this point are considered a forfeited lesson, and will still require payment for the agreed-upon rate of that lesson unless we have agreed on a rescheduled date/time.

If I am unable to attend a lesson, I will notify you via text, phone-call, or email prior to the lesson time as soon as I am able, and the expected payment for that lesson will be cancelled. I will reach out to reschedule the missed lesson or, if rescheduling isn’t possible, to confirm the next lesson.

In the event that I am unavailable to teach for an extended period of time, I will notify you at least two weeks in advance unless I am physically unable to.

You can discontinue all future lessons at any time. Please note, any unfulfilled lessons we have scheduled adhere to the cancellation policies listed in this ‘Cancellations & Delays’ section.

Reschedule

Rescheduled lessons are based on availability. I cannot guarantee I will always be able to reschedule a lesson. In the event that a lesson cannot be rescheduled, I will reach out to confirm the next scheduled lesson.

No-Shows/Late Starts

If I arrive to teach a scheduled lesson and you or the student(s) are not present, I will contact you. If we are unable to begin the lesson within 15 minutes of our agreed-upon lesson time, I am not required to stay and teach the lesson. This will be considered a forfeited lesson, and will still require payment for the agreed-upon rate.

If I am late for a lesson, I will notify you as soon as possible. If I am more than five minutes late, you may cancel the lesson at no charge to you. If I arrive within five minutes after the scheduled time and you choose to cancel the lesson, this is considered a forfeited lesson (as described above) and will still require payment.
